State of the Art ASAAM AODA

AODA: Aspect-Oriented Domain Analysis

Domain Analysis, is the process of identifying, collecting, organizing, and representing the relevant information in a domain. It's goal is primarily to define the domain of interest with respect to stakeholders and business context (domain scoping), and developing a a domain model (domain modeling).

We are currently developing AODA: Aspect-Oriented Domain Analysis Method, which is a follow-up to ASAAM. ASAAM concerns the identification of architectural aspects, AODA will be primarily concerned with the aspectual modeling.

The above is an elaboration/specialization of our ideas in the paper entitled 'Deriving design aspects from conceptual models'. that we have presented already in 1998 in our workshop paper in the Aspect-Oriented Programming workshop at ECOOP 1998.
