Call for papers

Although the workshop is open to all participants at SPLC-Europe 2005, we encourage authors to submit a 2-6 page position paper.  The area should relate aspects to software product lines.  The list of potential topics includes, but is not limited to:

  • Using aspects to represent variabilities present in a product line;

  • The relationship of aspects to a product line architecture;

  • The relationship of aspects to product line testing;

  • The relationship of aspects to a product line scope and business case;

  • Aspects and product line adoption;

  • Aspect-oriented requirements engineering;

  • Handling crosscutting concerns with use cases;

  • Mapping and traceability of aspectual requirements to architecture, design and implementation;

  • Identification and analysis of trade-offs among aspectual requirements;

  • Role of aspectual requirements analysis in stakeholder negotiations, product line scoping, and decision making;

  • Case studies on aspects and software product lines
